Introducing a member of the TRUE family who is dedicated to product design expertise – Yarnell Boyd, Senior Product Development Engineer. Yarnell is one of our dedicated team members who ensure your TRUE equipment looks and feels great and stands the test of time.

TRUE has decades of experience and constant refinement to ensure you are provided with the very best in premium cardio and strength equipment. TRUE’s engineers are devoted to safety and quality. We start with members like Yarnell, who has “been with 66体育 - TRUE Fitness让运动更简单_官方网站 66体育 66体育 a few months shy of four years.” 

Yarnell is passionate about her job, and has a love for her field. “Me being hands on, learning, and loving to know how things work, I felt engineering was a great career path for me.” When asked what sparked her passion for engineering, Yarnell stated that she “got into engineering because [she] had a love for math and science,” which made choosing a career in STEM the best choice for her.  

Her day to day can change drastically depending on a project but can include project management, product design, making visits to manufacturing facilities, testing, and tackling any quality issues that may arise. She works on a variety of products and has played a huge role in developing our newest cardio product that will be unveiled at IHRSA 2020. 

While each day may look different for Yarnell, her “favorite part about being an engineer for TRUE is that [she has] grown professionally and personally.” The product development department has “hands down, been one of the best departments I have ever worked in.” Yarnell enjoys their strong comradery and availability of the department. She also appreciates that her entire team is focused on one goal – to create a premium product. 

TRUE takes the design and quality of our equipment very seriously. “The most important thing for me being an engineer is safety. So, when we go to produce a product, safety is at the forefront of everything.” 

Product designs are created with the customer and end-user in mind. “I take the customer into account when we start a product design. We just try to understand what’s going on, and then drill down and see where the actual issue is.” She spends a great deal of time on research that is conducted prior to beginning a product design. “I think once we know what the customer wants, we then try to see if it’s manufacturable. And then once we figure out that we can actually manufacture it, we start to produce, develop designs and run that particular product through a gamut of testing to ensure we are giving the customer what they want and also provide them a safe product.” Yarnell ensures that when she brings her design to fruition, it’s her best foot forward.

Meet a member of our team who embodies our responsive service that you know and trust – Seth Cary, Senior Product Technician at 66体育 - TRUE Fitness让运动更简单_官方网站 66体育 66体育. We go through great lengths to deliver exceptional personal service to each and every customer. When you call into TRUE, you work with someone who truly cares about our products and your success as an equipment owner or technician. 

Seth will be transitioning his career from Senior Product Technician to a CH-47 Helicopter Repairer (15U) in the United States Army. This is Seth’s TRUE Story. 

TRUE goes to great lengths to deliver personalized service to our customers and technicians to ensure our equipment upholds its exceptional product quality. One of the ways in which TRUE does so is with the help of our product technicians. “I help technicians that call in in the field to help them diagnose machines, work on machines, basically just help the customer when they call in,” said Seth. TRUE’s Product Support Technicians like Seth are responsible for helping with questions regarding installation, operational functions, troubleshooting, and maintenance. We strive to always put the customer first. “Customers are basically everything to us. So, we want to make sure we get our customers taken care of first and foremost and we want them to love our products like we love our products.” 

While Seth has worked for TRUE for four years, he felt that he wanted to serve his country in the United States Army. “About a year and a half ago, one of my friends approached me and said ‘Hey, let’s do something crazy. Let’s join the National Guard and be military contractors. “At the time, one of my best friends from middle school was here in St. Louis as a recruiter for the army. He was able to help me pick through the career options. And then having to start the process of losing weight, which in and of itself is probably the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life.” Seth began his weight loss journey to meet the U.S. Army enlistment weight requirements. 

Seth embarked on a journey and was successful due to his workout regimen and strict diet. “Being able to have a facility to go and use our equipment and being able to have access to people that can help me develop a better plan to help with the weight loss is definitely been a huge help as well.” Seth knew that with careful planning and strict adherence to his new lifestyle, he would meet his goal of enlisting in the army. 

It is evident that Seth loves the technical field. “Being in the technical service department has helped because I have a better understanding of how machines operate. It’s helped me have a better understanding of electronics which that’s part of the field of going into the army.” I’ll be working on Chinook helicopters. Basically, just the same thing I’m doing here but on a bigger scale with helicopters.” Seth’s advice to anyone looking to move into his career path “if you want it, get it.”

Today, we are talking to a member of our TRUE family that embodies responsive service, and puts you first – Kameron Messenberg, Service Parts Shipping Supervisor at 66体育 - TRUE Fitness让运动更简单_官方网站 66体育 66体育. TRUE’s promise is to build equipment and relationships with integrity, so we believe in keeping our equipment running at the highest standards. In order to do so, we must support our customers in all of their equipment parts needs.

Meet Kameron, TRUE’s Service Parts Shipping Supervisor of 7 years. Beginning as a Fork Truck Driver, Kam has received 4 promotions over his 7 year tenure at TRUE. “In the last 7 years, I went from a fork truck driver, to a shipping lead, to a parts shipping lead, to a supervisor,” said Kam. 

Kam was responsible for the complete overhaul of the parts shipping department. When he took over the shipping department 4 years ago, there were around 9,000 SKUs. Now, his team is responsible for almost 14,000 SKUs. “We have added and moved extra shelving and racking to make things flow better in my area,” said Kam. They added new storeganizer units and shelves on a rolling rack 2 and 3 deep “so we can put all parts in these racks to make accuracy a lot better.” 

Kam and his team work tirelesly to ensure all parts orders are accurately packaged and out the door, keeping your equipment running smoothly. “I feel like we are one of the only companies in the industry where if you get your order in at a certain time during that day, we are going to ship it to you that day,” said Kam. “Whether it be – if a person needs a console or a person needs a system upgraded or just a simple customer pickup that needs to fix a small item at their local gym. We try to fulfill all of the needs of our customers because we like to have a customer first mentality. Everybody in the warehouse is tight-knit. We all have our jokes, we all have our fun. We all kick it into gear when we need to kick it into gear.” 

At TRUE, customer service and satisfaction is held to the highest standard. “We all have the same common goal – take care of our customers and make sure things are coming in and out correctly. We’re all working on the same accord. We have 1 person shipping UPS, 2 people picking and pulling orders.” Kam always jumps in to help his team with picking and pulling or shipping to ensure parts are out the door the same day.  

When asked about his team’s impact, Kam said, “I think we’ve had a large impact. If a customer can’t get a part, if they need to fix a unit, we need to fix that ASAP. So, our goal is to get the customer the part in order to get the unit fixed and up and running ready to roll.” TRUE ensures that our customers have the quality equipment their facility deserves. 

At TRUE, our tagline states “Integrity Matters.” When asking Kam why integrity matters to him, he said “integrity matters to me because it’s fulfilling the promise to the customers that we’ll get the items out at a 99% success rate to take care of all customers needs.” 

Kam and his team enjoy the family-owned culture at TRUE. “To be a part of a family owned company, we see everybody’s face every single day. Whether you directly work with them or you just walk by and say hi, just any interaction. You’re seeing everyone in the company from the top to bottom.” TRUE is not “another company” and is instead an extension of your club or facility’s family.
